Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions and make sure you understand your rights and obligations. All further communication between you and Destination India would directly depend on the following terms and conditions.
Your Booking Perquisites
Please book your required tour or stop-over as soon as possible by sending a complete booking and payment form. Try to provide as much information and description of your tour that will help us in fulfilling your minutest requirement and to provide you with utmost customer satisfaction.
Payment, Cancellation And Refunds
Please note that all prices are subject to confirmation at the time of booking. Upon your written confirmation (either by e-mail, fax or letter) and receipt of the correct deposit/ payment, the contract between you and Destination India shall come into effect and be legally binding.We reserve the right to vary these prices, if the variation in the price is after the tour booking, the customer is authorized to cancel the tour. Visas, insurance, baggage allowance over 20kg, international extras, meals, laundry, portage, drinks, souvenirs, all items of a personal nature, international and domestic taxes are not included in the tour unless specifically stated to be included. In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any reason, we must be informed in writing. Cancellation of the tour will be permitted within 7 days of tour booking with certain amount of deduction charges.
All tourists are responsible themselves for possessing a valid passport, visa, vaccination certificates (where required) and other necessary documents on departure. We shall not be held responsible for any losses that result from clients not being in possession of the correct documentation. It is a booking requirement of the tour that you and all persons on whose behalf you are making a booking are adequately insured for the complete duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage, passport and personal items, cancellation and curtailment.
Possible Changes And Delays
We make every possible effort to ensure that whatever is stated in our website is accurate and is followed exactly and that our subcontractors remain efficient and reputable. However, we have no direct control of the day-to-day running of our subcontractor's operations. We reserve the right to change the itinerary or accommodation depending so as to provide best services to the tourists. The Company is not responsible if an airline cancels or delays a flight nor is it responsible for any costs resulting therefrom. The Company will not provide any refund for portions of tour missed due to canceled or delayed flights. The Company reserves the right to decline or retain any person as a member of a tour.
After a booking has been made, if you wish to make changes to your itinerary, all assistance will be provided to meet your requirements. However, changes will come into affect depending on the availability. If modifications include changes to air tickets and booking dates; any penalties resulting from such amendments after flights are ticketed will be your responsibility. Any change in tour cost due to changes has to be solely borne by the tourist.
Limitations of A Developing Country
We are not responsible for the quality, value, reliability or authenticity of goods that are purchased while on the tour even if it is from a place included on your itinerary. Nor are we liable in any way whatsoever for any arrangements you may make to post, ship or freight such purchases. Asia is still developing and you should be prepared to accept standards of service, attitudes and efficiency that may not be similar to global standards. Gather knowledge about the region you are visiting by referring to trusted material as this will help you enjoy the holidays better.
We require that all those traveling with us be in a general good state of health. If you have any medical condition which may require professional attention during the tour; you must notify us in writing at the time of booking (or as soon as the condition develops, if after the date of booking). We will assist you in obtaining any such medical attention. However, we will not be responsible for the costs thereof, which shall be for your sole account. Under no circumstances are we accountable for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof you receive while on the trip even if we have provided the assistance in finding a professional. If you require any special equipment during your tour (wheelchairs, crutches etc), you can carry along or inform us in advance so that we can make due arrangements. If you wish to carry on with the booking; a certificate from your doctor stating that they are nevertheless fit enough to undertake the tour is mandatory.
All arrangements of transport, accommodation and other travel-related services are made by the company as agents only. The Company has no authority over the suppliers (Independent Contractors) who provide the above services, thus the responsibility does not lies with the company for any negligent or unlawful act or failure of any supplier or of any third party. We will, however, give you any support we can in making a claim against the responsible party, where we believe that you may have a claim against that party. Neither the company nor any person assisting or collaborating with the company shall be liable for death or any personal injury.
Your Privacy is of utmost importance to us. Whatever information you disclose to us, be it about your travel plans or your personal details; you can be assured that the information will be kept confidential and will not be released to a third party. The details will only be used to provide you with the asked for services. However, we also expect you to give us only the true information to avoid hassles in future.
